[VRC] PS1 Retro Style Model Maru

Unity package of my retro pixel art style Maru avatar, made for VRchat.
This package includes a PC and Quest Prefab so that you can upload with as little friction as possible.

Features!

• Avatar is fully rigged and humanoid
• Visemes are blend shapes that are already animated
• Optional Retro-style PS1 wiggle slider for that authentic "no floating points here" look
• 8 facial expressions, 6 eyes and 2 mouths can be mixed and matched
• Sword toggle in the quick menu
• complex animator allows for expressions to be used with left hand, right hand, or neither!

Installation (for VRchat):

1. Download and install the latest Avatar 3.0 SDK from VRchat and import that into your Unity project
2. Import Retro Style Maru Model.Unitypackage (This) into your Unity project
3. Drag the Prefab into the scene, PC for PC and Quest for Quest.
4. Upload and Play

If you want to upload both to create a fallback, follow these steps

1. Upload the PC Avatar as a fallback
2. Change build for Android
3. Drag the Quest version of the material on the avatar from the Materials folder
4. Upload for Android as a linked fallback

• (08/28/2023) Version 1.1 - Fixed the hands up to not look so weird with Index Controllers
• (08/30/2023) hotfix - I forgot to set the lipsync to "Viseme Parameter Only" on the prefabs, so I did that.
• (09/27/2023) Version 1.2 - Added Blinking to the avatar and exported it with Maru's shader properly (at least I hope so) so it should actually work instead of giving you a broken shader.

• Original textures, outfits, accessories, or any other complimentary 3D artwork made to work with this base are fine to sell so long as they do not include my work in the files.
• Refunds are not available as this is a digital product.
• I reserve the rights to use this model for advertisement, games, media, or any other form of content.
